The germicidal effects of UV at 254nm is well established worldwide. A number of companies are manufacturing and marketing a vast variety of UV water disinfection units. The advantages of UV in this field is clear in terms of efficiency and economics. We design and manufacture a number of different models using low pressure hard quartz lamps and quartz lamp jackets. Our smallest unit is a home counter top unit that consumes 15 watts of power with a lamp life expectancy of 9000hrs
