An affordable, odor and germ control system for a natural, chemical free air disinfection Sunshine provides the germ control on earth with ultraviolet rays.
Powerful disinfection properties of ultraviolet light in the germicidal range (uvc) has been proven over the last century by biologists and photo-chemists.
All microorganisms contain nucleic acids which reacts with uvc at 254nm range resulting in destruction of the DNA of the organism. this process usually takes only a few seconds, depending on the intensity of the light source.
It all depends on the total dose of the ultraviolet radiation and the kind of organisms that we are trying to eliminate.
It is very effective for surface or air disinfection of bacteria, viruses, yeast, algea, mold spores and protozoa. See charts below.

Ultraviolet radiation can not penetrate materials or thick films other than air and water, limiting its uses in air or water. It is very effective on such as e. coli(bacteriophage) requires only 6600 microwatts.seconds/square cm. for full fatal destruction or less than 2 seconds under 4000microwatts/square cm. standard lamp that we utilize.
All the medical data clearly states that it is impossible to build resistance against the ultraviolet disinfection by the germs. We would like to emhasize on one fact that, ultraviolet radiation is so called radiation due to light wave travel style; same as heat waves which also travels as radiation ;such that there is no similarity to real nuclear or microwave radiation but simply the wording.
All airborne disease is spread through air and depends on the germ count in a volume of air. higher the germ count ;higher the chances of the germs breaking through the human immune system.
Most odors are the result of break down of organic material by bacteria, elimination of bacteria in a desired location will also eliminate any odor problems.
Use of any disinfection devices or chemicals it is almost impossible to eliminate 100% of the germs in a closed area but reducing the germ count is possible using disinfection systems and therefore reducing the spread of airborne disease.
Flowing air over the lamp surface is one way to destroy the micoorganisms. ultraviolet radiation does not leave any residue in air, nor cause any change in the air.
We have been following the most recent developments in ultraviolet producing lamps, quartz jackets, and ballast development such that; we can offer the most reliable and affordable ultraviolet disinfection system for any size of application.
We utilize only 100% quartz lamps which are good for 10,000 hour continuous use between the replacements. every lamp module is made of a linear quartz lamp, a quartz protection sleeve which is mounted on one end to the power supply(ballast) which contain on/off power switch and an hour counter for totalizing the hours in use for maintenance purposes.
All air conditioning, heating sytems, humidifiers, air ventilation ducts; usually where all the germs are cultivated in our own homes. even the most advanced filtering systems become the germ cultivating grounds themselves. the only weapon against germs in air without the chemicals or steam is ultraviolet systems.
All medical establishments can achieve a lower germ count in the air by utilizing our uvc air germicidal units placed in their ventilation ducts.
Dental clinics are also able to reduce infection rates with the help of reduced air germ counts.
All commercial applications, offices, schools, restaurants, kitchen and washroom areas are where the germs are at higher counts and get people down with sickness.
Most of the office buildings labeled with sick building syndrome are places with limited fresh air but a lot of circulation of the germs. A sick person two floors below can easily increase the virus count in air through the common air ventilation ducts.
Our off the shelf units can be installed in any ventilation system in less than 10 minutes by anyone.
Simply drill a 1.375" dia. hole (drilling template provided) in the ventilation duct(usually galvanized steel sheet) and push the quartz jacket envelope until the power supply base is in contact with the duct and use 4 sheet metal screws of self drilling and tapping type to secure the base for final assembly.
The quartz jacket can be retracted up to 2 inches into the control enclosure.
